Grade 4 students were challenged to design and build a catapult as a culminating activity for their study of feudalism. They gathered information on different types of catapults, collaborated on ideas and sketched designs for their prototype.
They filled the board with facts about catapults before starting and then filled another board with questions they needed to answer before they could begin designing.
Students worked hard to make their designs come to life. While sometimes frustrating, it was also exciting to determine how to implement their ideas. #ProjectDesign
