In 1976 at Asheville Country Day School a great school tradition began: Auction Gala. For 42 years since, a biennial auction fundraiser has been held to directly benefit the school, its faculty, students, and facilities. Our galas are famous for the significant funds they raise, and they also allow us to gather as a school community to enjoy each other's company at truly unique and fabulous events of both Family Night and Gala.  

Midnight Garden follows in the same spirit and tradition of the very first Auction Gala and is also fresh with its own unique, lush ambiance and twilight sparkle.

All proceeds from Midnight Garden directly benefit CDS faculty professional development and enhancements and upgrades to teaching and learning. Any proceeds raised beyond the cost of these improvements may be used to grow the school's endowment.

For federal income tax purposes, you may deduct as a charitable contribution the price of Midnight Garden event tickets (or Patron Tables) less their fair market value. We estimate the fair market value of the VIP gala evening tickets to be $150 each, $100 each for general gala tickets, and $1,700 per Patron Table.
