Key Learning Center serves the western North Carolina community as a premier resource for educators, students, and parents regarding language-based learning differences/dyslexia. Each summer we offer accredited Orton-Gillingham (O-G) courses as an outreach to educators.

Multisensory Structured Language Education: Orton-Gillingham Approach to Reading, Spelling, and Writing

Course 1: Key Orton-Gillingham Foundations - Associate Part 1 - 30 hour course offered over 4 days
April 20-21 & May 4-5, 2018

Course 2: Key Orton-Gillingham Associate - Teaching Level Part 2 - 55 hour course offer over 7 days
June 14-15 & June 18-22, 2018
(Prerequisite required course: Foundations)

Course 3: Key Orton-Gillingham Bridge from Basic to Advanced - Certified Part 1 - 25-hour course offered over 3 days
June 18-20, 2018
(Prerequisite required course: Foundations)

Course 4: Key Orton-Gillingham Certified - Advanced Part 2 - 55 hour course offer over 7 days
(This course is offered biennially and will be held in Summer 2019)
(Prerequisite required courses: Associate Part 1&2 and Bridge)
