Ben Lochen '17 signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball with Randolph College (Lynchburg, Virginia).
Randolph College, a NCAA Division III institution located in Lynchburg, Virginia, is a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC), one of the strongest Division III conferences, combining excellent academics with strong athletics.
At 6’7”, Lochen had multiple offers, and according to Lochen, the reason he chose Randolph was, “it’s not only a good fit for me on the basketball court, but they have great academics and I really like the small college environment. When I visited, I immediately fell in love with the campus - it has a perfect feeling to it.”
Trip Cogburn, Carolina Day’s varsity basketball coach, says this of Lochen, “Ben has been an integral part of our program’s success over the last four years. I am confident he will be successful at Randolph not only on the court but also in the community. He is a terrific young man.”
