Upper School theatre students present Shakespeare’s comedy:


Much Ado About Nothing
Wednesday, March 16 – Saturday, March 19
7 p.m. Lower School Gym

Admission:      $10 Adults

                      $5 for senior citizens and non-CDS students

                      $2 CDS students

                      (Faculty and staff receive two compimentary tickets for use any night)

 

Ingredients:

-One pompous, matchmaking prince and his vengeful, villainous brother,

-two long-bickering acquaintances who have sworn never to fall in love – with anybody

-an innocent lass and a naïve, flavor-of-the-moment soldier boy

-one wealthy nobleman with a secret crush

-a transpostionally verbose constable and his almost competent officers

-everyone’s natural tendency to eavesdrop

 

Blend together with several secret plots to encourage love

Fold in counter-plots to break-up the new couples

Add a dash of music

 

Bake for two hours and you get is Shakespeare’s finest comedy: "Much Ado About Nothing"
